Sant Antoni hides treasures that possibly even many locals don't know about. Such is the case of an enclave that is on the coast between Caló des Moro and Cala Gració: the Cap Blanc Aquarium. Located within a natural cave into which five different water entry ways have been excavated, allowing the constant circulation and renovation of sea water, the Aquarium boasts a selection of the most representative fish species of the Ibiza Mediterranean sea, as well as sea sponges, gastropods, bivalves and other marine invertebrates. 

As soon as you arrive, you will become hypnotized by the coming and going of impressive rays, colourful rainbow wrasses, majestic groupers and other more local fish, as well as octopuses and endless other species that are separated according to how compatible they are, at a distance that will seem like you can just reach out and touch them. There are also various tanks with smaller fish. You may even come across a sea turtle that is in recovery (probably after being found having swallowed plastic or getting caught up in it), since the Aquarium cooperates with CREM, the Centre for Recovery of Marine Species. 

This cave, known amongst the locals as “Sa cova de ses llagostes”, was originally a lobster fish farm for exporting to Barcelona and other cities. 

In summer they organize sardine meals that include the entry to the centre and which you would be wise to reserve in advance. In the winter, they open on Saturdays from 10h to 14h, and the entry fee is 5 € for adults and 3 € for children between 4 and 12 years old. Tel. 663 945 47
