Customers can either bring their own empty containers, or use glass bottles provided by the store; they then fill them with the products of their choice. Many of the health food stores here on Ibiza offer a similar option for buying bulk items with no packaging.

Convenience in the form of cheap plastics, non-recyclable packaging, and disposable products has become detrimental to our planet’s health. Our landfills are overflowing, our oceans are littered, and we are left with billions of tons of waste that will not break down for hundreds of years. The Zero Waste Movement challenges individuals to reflect on how they can change their consuming habits to be more sustainable.
