The first step is for your Account Manager at GC Partners to establish the exchange rate of dollars to Euros that you will get. To make it simple, let’s say that €200,000 will cost you $210,000. Your account manager will guide you through the process to be sure that you know all of the details, and how to send $210,000 to GC Partners’ US dollar account by bank transfer. There is no exchange cost on this part of the transaction as it is dollars to dollars. Once GC Partners receive your US Dollars in their account, they send €200,000 to any account specified by you. That could be your lawyer for a property purchase, a supplier, or your own account. GC Partners takes no fees on these transactions.
